One of the most beautiful winter currants in the world! The ornamental currant variety ‘Amore’ is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular plants thanks to its red flowers, which completely cover the plant’s stems, creating a truly breathtaking display from late winter through spring. Its flowers have a romantic reddish-pink hue and a pleasant, sweet vanilla scent.

These currant plants are ornamental, as they don’t produce fruit, but they compensate by offering one of the most incredible blooms among red fruit plants. Furthermore, thanks to its compact size, which doesn’t exceed 150 cm in height, it’s ideal for growing in any corner of our gardens or for urban cultivation in pots on our terraces or balconies.

The winter currant, ‘Amore’, can grow in almost any type of soil, with a preference for acidic soils. It tolerates full sun, although in warm climates it should be placed in partial shade.
