Self-fertile Albino Kiwiberry

As spectacular and beautiful as it is indescribable! Hokey Pokey® is a new variegated, self-fertile kiwifruit variety with albino leaves boasting incredible colors. The edges of the leaves are a light lemon hue, making it quite different from any other mini kiwifruit variety, comparable only to the Arctic Beauty variety, though with very different shades.

Like other kiwifruit varieties, Hokey Pokey® is a climbing plant whose stems need to be supported by a structure or trellis, such as arbors, pergolas, and wire fences. It can also be trained along wires strung between posts.

It has beautiful white flowers that appear in May and June. Months later, it produces delicious oval fruits with a flavor similar to kiwifruit with a hint of lemon, and whose thin skin can be eaten directly.

Thanks to its variegated leaves and tasty fruit, Hokey Pokey® has both decorative and functional qualities, and being self-fertile, it’s ideal for growing in our gardens or allotments.

It’s harvested in September.
