Direttissima® instant harvest blackberries are here! This type of blackberry is unique and is undoubtedly the latest innovation in blackberries. Every year in spring, they will produce new stems, which from August onwards will be filled with beautiful and delicious blackberries that you can harvest until the first cold spells arrive in autumn and winter. Once you have harvested all the blackberries, simply cut all the stems at the bottom and in spring the cycle will begin again. It is one of the easiest plants to grow in your garden, vegetable patch or on your terrace. Prune, grow and harvest, all in the same year. Could anything be simpler?

Like all blackberries, once the stems have borne fruit, they dry out. It is recommended to prune the dry stems at the end of winter, about 15 cm from the ground, so that there are more shoots and therefore a greater harvest.

Montblanc blackberry plants are quite upright, which makes them easy to grow. They can be grown in an urban garden by pruning the stems to about 50-70 cm. This way, they will take up little space and produce many more side shoots, forming a more compact and bushy plant. Their fruits are large, with a mild, sweet and very aromatic flavour.
