Italian Honeysuckle

Lonicera caprifolium “Perfoliate Honeysuckle”

These plants are known as Perfoliate Honeysuckle, Italian Honeysuckle, or Goat’s-leaf Honeysuckle. The Inga variety is characterized by being a very hardy climbing vine capable of reaching 3 meters in height. Like most honeysuckles, it produces beautiful and fragrant flowers, in this case creamy white with light pink tones, during May and June. Later in the summer, it produces orange berries. Due to its somewhat more compact growth habit, it is ideal for cultivation in smaller spaces.
