Lonicera henryi “Honeysuckle”

Henry’s Honeysuckle is characterized by its large, climbing vine, capable of reaching 5 meters in height. These hardy plants require little care and, thanks to their large leaves and evergreen foliage, are ideal for covering large facades, pergolas, or supports. They tolerate full sun but prefer to keep their roots in the shade. Lonicera henryi produces clusters of colorful, tubular flowers in shades of violet and orange, which are highly fragrant with a honey-like scent during spring. Later, these flowers give way to small, dark black berries, which are unfortunately toxic to humans but highly prized by birds.
