Kiwiberry Citrus Self-fertile Kokuwa

Kokuwa is a novel and delicious self-fertile variety from Japan. The Kokuwa kiwiberry, or citrus babykiwi, is characterized by producing delicious kiwifruit with a lemon-lime flavor that will delight any palate. Like all self-fertile varieties, it produces delicious green fruits that can be harvested in the second or third year of cultivation and, of course, does not require pollination.

The Kokuwa citrus babykiwi is a very robust and resistant plant, tolerating winter temperatures and frosts down to -22°C (-4°F). Like other red fruits, it prefers acidic, light, and well-drained soils for optimal growth. These plants adapt to any type of structure and are ideal for growing on fences, pergolas, trellises, or walls.

Like Vitikiwi®, it is harvested from mid-September onwards.
