Ananasnaya Kiwiberry

Actinidia arguta

One of the classic varieties of baby kiwifruit and considered one of the best for commercial cultivation, both for its excellent flavor and high yield. The fruits are medium-sized, very sweet and aromatic, reminiscent of pineapple, hence its common name, “ananá” (pineapple). The skin is pinkish, especially in sun-exposed fruit, and the flesh is greenish-yellow. Like all female kiwifruit varieties, it requires a male plant (Weiki) for pollination.

Harvesting begins in mid-August.
