Issai is the highest quality late-season variety, along with Bingo! Best of all, it’s self-fertile, so you won’t need to use a male plant to harvest its own baby kiwifruit. Due to its exceptional quality, it’s one of the few self-fertile varieties used in professional plantations. These robust and vigorous plants are high-yielding and can produce their first fruit as early as the second year of cultivation. These baby kiwifruit are green with a delicious sweet flavor.

Suitable for warmer growing areas like southern Spain or the Mediterranean coast, due to its low chilling requirements.

Harvest time is late September to early October.
