Lowberry

Vaccinium corymbosum x angustifolium

A variety of dwarf blueberry (lowberry), perfect for urban gardens and ideal for growing in a small pot on your balcony or terrace. The Little Blue Wonder® variety is a very compact plant that does not exceed 50-60 cm in height, becoming literally wider than it is tall, which makes it beautiful to look at. It is extremely resistant to cold, withstanding temperatures of -30 degrees Celsius.

Being so compact, when it flowers it forms an incredible and spectacular white blanket, which makes us wonder if it has snowed on the plant. Due to its smaller size, the blueberries we harvest during the summer will also be small, although they have a very rich flavour, reminiscent of wild blueberries, and a spectacular sky blue colour. Like most blueberry varieties, it loses its leaves in winter, but during autumn we can enjoy incredible reddish colours.
